This tour will take you on a kayak at the mouth of the Urauchi River, the longest river in Okinawa Prefecture, where you can experience nature and mangroves, and then snorkel around Barasu Island in the afternoon. A "packable" raft is an inflatable boat that's small enough to fit in a backpack and easily inflated for paddle cruising or downriver paddling anywhere on lakes and rivers. This is recommended for beginners to paddle sports, as well as those new to packrafting. This tour is also recommended for those who only have half a day to spare due to other commitments. We'll support your first packrafting experience with detailed instructions on paddling, tips, and safety. Once you've mastered paddling, you can even try paddling on a smaller current! Tour Overview: At 1,269 meters above sea level, Lake Chuzenji in Nikko National Park is the highest lake in Japan. Pack your packraft in your backpack and head out for a trek! Trek through the pristine, quiet forest, untouched by traffic and open only to foot traffic. Experience the history and natural beauty of Lake Chuzenji, including the former British and French Embassy Villa and a deep beech forest, as you make your way along the lakeshore toward the beach. Once you arrive at the deserted beach, take in the stunning views of Lake Chuzenji and Mount Nantai towering across the shore, then sit back and relax on the sand. "Is this Japan?" The climax comes when you inflate your own packraft and set off from the beach in the clear waters where fish swim, onto Lake Chuzenji, where you can enjoy the spectacular mountain and lake views created by Nikko's natural beauty as you paddle.
