While enjoying home cooking made with seasonal ingredients, you will discover a new side of Kamakura through friendly conversation, from hidden spots and shops that only locals know about, to the joys and hardships of living in Kamakura. Depending on the interests of the participants, we can invite Kamakura residents with various backgrounds, such as artists, local history buffs, and housewives who love cooking. For example, we will provide a place for interaction that suits your interests, such as "I'm interested in the Kamakura art scene" or "I want to know more about the history of the ancient capital." The charm of this experience is that it is a small group (maximum 8 people) and you can enjoy honest conversation in a relaxed atmosphere. We will talk freely about the life, history, and culture of Kamakura, explaining the origins of each dish. 20:30 Kamakura Information Sharing/Question Time Locals share hidden spots, souvenirs, and restaurant information recommended by locals. We will also give you personal advice tailored to your plans. 21:00 Commemorative photo/Farewell We will end the evening with seasonal tea and sweets. There are many things that were first made in Japan, such as barber shops, ice cream, and newspapers. There are also foods that were created in Yokohama, such as Neapolitan spaghetti and pudding a la mode. Come and enjoy the wonderful scenery and history of Yokohama, as well as gourmet food such as Chinatown. If you would like to make chicken ramen (90 minutes) at the Cup Noodle Museum or tour the Kirin Beer Factory (90 minutes), reservations are required, so please contact us at least 3 months in advance. Reservations are not required for making cup noodles (about 45 minutes). For lunch, enjoy Chinatown, of course, but also long-established beef hotpot restaurants, cutlet restaurants, Neapolitan, and soba restaurants.
