A summer vacation special plan for kids to learn how to capture insects. There is a hot spring nearby, so please bring a change of clothes and recover from your fatigue after the experience. The schedule for the day is as follows. ・Looking for insects in the woods: Mainly stag beetles, rhinoceros beetles, long-horned beetles, dragonflies, butterflies, grasshoppers, praying mantises, etc. ・After that, move to the river and explore the river: Observe the spring water in the upstream part and look for the following creatures. Experience rummaging around the rocks in Kanagawa Prefecture, and observe shellfish, crabs, octopus, sea urchins, sea slugs, fish, and hermit crabs. This tour takes place around 2 hours before and after low tide. The host will provide all the equipment, including waders, long sleeves, silly boots, nets, cases, and gloves for children and adults. Please wear a swimsuit (waders over your everyday clothes from October onwards) and marine shoes.
