In the beautiful west side of Lake Biwa, which boasts the best water quality in Lake Biwa, you can feel the overwhelming vastness of Lake Biwa and the grandeur of nature while gazing at the horizon. Enjoy the majestic mountains and the beautiful Lake Biwa! Take a commemorative photo in front of the torii gate in the lake! The destination, Shirahige Shrine, is a power spot that Lake Biwa is proud of! It is also called Omi's Itsukushima because of the large torii gate floating in the lake with Okishima in the background. It is the oldest shrine in Omi, and as the name suggests, it is known as the god of longevity and long life, and is also the "god of guidance" for all business, including safe navigation, which is perfect for SUP. The large torii gate is also said to be a landmark for worship by boat. There are many things to see in the shrine grounds, so be sure to visit and then head home!

You can enjoy a full-scale sumo show supervised by former sumo wrestler Konishiki, a sumo experience, and a kimono haori experience. If you upgrade with an option, you can also enjoy traditional Japanese sumo cuisine. ☆ Flow of the day ☆ The reception is at the entrance of the store. You can learn about the basic movements of sumo, rules, winning moves, and prohibited moves. There is a quiz competition related to sumo and sumo wrestlers along the way, and if you answer the quiz correctly, everyone will receive a prize (sweets) ★ ③Best of three (approx. 5 to 10 minutes) A serious three-match match by former sumo wrestlers. It is a serious showdown without improvisation, where it is unclear who will win or lose. Everyone will throw a celebratory beanbag to the winning wrestler instead of a cushion. ④ Photo shoot (approximately 5-10 minutes) You will step onto the ring and take a photo with the former wrestler. *The photo will be taken with your mobile phone. You can also create a memorial label drink on the spot using the photo of your memories of today (1,000 yen). ⑤ Sumo experience (approximately 10-20 minutes) Wear a sumo suit or mawashi and wrestle with a former wrestler. The instructor will be a Shushin-ryu iaido-hiho-denshi holder. In the historic and venerable grounds of Tada Shrine, you can learn the etiquette and history of ancient samurai, experience samurai martial arts, learn the structure of Japanese swords and the correct way to use them, and gain a wealth of knowledge about samurai and Japanese swords.
