It is a picnic project using a kayak at Lake Chuzenji, Oku-Nikko, which is rich in nature! ! You can feel the unique natural environment of Oku-Nikko from the surface of the lake, get close to the huge Mizunara oak tree "Mother Tree", go a little offshore and see the majestic figure of Mt. Nantai at an altitude of 2486m. Let's enjoy kayaking at "Lake Chuzenji", a dream destination for kayaking enthusiasts! Access from the metropolitan area is also excellent. The first sea kayak (a wide variety of sea kayaks are available) Lake Chuzenji is located in Nikko National Park and is a dammed lake created by the eruption of Mt. Nantai 20,000 years ago. It is the highest lake in Japan with a circumference of about 24km, an area of 11.62km2, a maximum depth of 172m, a lake surface altitude of 1269m, and an area of 4km2 or more excluding artificial lakes. Because of this environment, the scenery of the four seasons, the magnificent view of Mt. Nantai from the lake, and the clear blue lake water are exceptional, and it is a world that I long for even if I am not a kayaker. Some people may want to ride a sea kayak but are scared of the sea, but you can try sea kayaking on the lake. It is a project where you can fully enjoy the nature of Lake Chuzenji in Oku-Nikko in one day. The Nikko Nasu Outdoor Service / Tochigi Kayak Center, which puts safety and security first, has thoroughly managed risks and has been updating the kayak tour accident-free record since its opening.
