It is a canoeing experience on the Arekinai River, a tributary that flows through the Kushiro Marsh. The meeting place is JR Senmo Line, in front of Toro Station. The course starts from a lake called Lake Toro, goes to the Arekinai River, goes to the main stream of the Kushiro River, goes up the Arekinai River by canoe, and returns to Lake Toro. Because it is a calm river, you can go up the river, and even those who are new to canoeing can experience it with peace of mind. The river does not freeze even in winter, so you can experience canoeing throughout the year. Canoeing and kayaking are popular waterside activities. This experience is a kind of boat called "inflatable kayak", and you can enjoy rowing a calm river or flat lake surface with a tool called "paddle" with a board called "blade" on both ends. The hull is designed to be inflated with air, so it has excellent mobility and transportability, and when deflated, it becomes smaller than a tent, making it a compact vehicle that can be easily transported even in a passenger car. Of course, the hull, which is the buoyancy body, has a multi-chamber structure, and even if one buoyancy cannot be secured, other buoyancy bodies will back it up, so you can enjoy it with peace of mind.
