At the Kanfu Ceramic Center, we always hold a pottery class where visitors can feel free to experience the fun of "handcrafting" and "shrinkage". We offer a variety of pottery experiences from everyday pottery to authentic Bizen pottery. We can accept groups of up to 100 people from 1 person. Real Bizen soil, real Okayama Plan to bake with rice cake. No glaze is applied, and a simple and deep pottery is completed, baking only the soil. 1 kg of clay is alone. Make two bowls, bowls and dishes. Bizen ware takes about 3 months to finish baking.

A small workshop located 4.8km east of Himeji Castle, a 15-minute drive away. How about a pottery experience between sightseeing? It is a plan of 2 hours experience time. In the pottery experience, you can make general tableware (tea bowls, vases, dishes etc.). It is an electric kiln that uses Bizen ware clay or clay blended with Bizen ware clay and red soil. The baked color will be ashes (hidden) or strawberry (hidasaki).

At "Sorakukan" in Inbe, Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture, we hold a pottery experience class for Bizen ware. In a relaxed and calm space, children and adults can easily enjoy making Bizen ware by hand. In this plan, the work is fired in an electric kiln. It will take 40-60 minutes. After the ceramic art experience, it is a soy sauce bukkake ice cream service that has been introduced on overseas TV. Please enjoy it slowly while watching the work you made. You can also enjoy the original Bizen curry and Bizen burger from Sorakukan, which ranked 6th in the local curry grand prix nationwide. For those who have experienced ceramic art, all the menus at the Sorakukan will come with a 100 yen discount ticket, so please enjoy the local Bizen gourmet. As soon as the specified number of kilns is ready, we will fire the kilns one by one and send them after baking.
