National Route 134 along the coast is also famous as a cycling course. From Kugenuma to Chigasaki, the course features a long stretch of spectacular coastline views, where you can enjoy cycling while looking at the sea and Mt. Fuji. From Fujisawa, you pass through the Sakaigawa Cycling Road and reach Kugenuma Beach. From Kugenuma Beach to Chigasaki, there is the Shonan Coast Cycling Road, which is a bicycle-only road on National Route 134 where you can enjoy the scenery of Shonan at your leisure. The second most popular tour is the upstream tour. You can encounter beautiful aquatic creatures in the spring water upstream. This is a bicycle tour around rice fields, spring water points, and upstream. Please note that this tour is limited to electric three-seater bicycles, so only those who can ride a bicycle can participate. The targets are river crabs, loaches, crayfish, four types of dragonfly nymphs, mitten crabs, chichibu, minnows, moroko, and carp. (Shallow points only) Gather at the meeting point, use the toilet, and use insect repellent, then start cycling. Please wear a helmet and drive safely. This tour involves cycling around the spring water repeatedly. Since the tour is aimed at shallow waters, it is a safe point for small children, and although exploration requires a little skill, it is a tour to explore the source of the hidden area, so you can make summer memories with your family, learn about the creatures while enjoying the constant temperature spring water, which is cool in summer and warm in winter, and then go home.
