The Shimanami Kaido connects the beautiful islands floating in the Seto Inland Sea. We have prepared a special adventure plan to enjoy the spectacular scenery from the water. "Kobo Seikan" has a workshop, shop, and cafe, and you can enjoy a tour of the Yamanaka lacquerware production site, experience turning the wood, and enjoy shopping, lacquerware, and cafes and sweets. In this course, we will visit the studio (I will explain) ~ Making a vase ~ Lacquerware experience at a cafe (with a drink) Here, the lacquerware craftsmen are working every day. In this experience, you can observe it up close and learn about lacquerware production. The staff will give you easy-to-understand instructions. Next, you will make your own original flower vase using the wood turning wheel and plane that the craftsmen actually use. You can experience full-fledged wood sawing through making single flower vase. Most of the shapes are carved by yourself, so it's a little bit difficult, but it's fun! ! ! A friendly wood craftsman will teach you carefully, so you can make it yourself until the final completion. You will be satisfied. It is fun. After that, you can enjoy drinks made with lacquerware and sweets at the cafe. Please relax and enjoy the lacquerware experience. If you have any questions, feel free to ask the staff or craftsmen. Fuji. It is home to many franchise stores of famous Japanese brands. Luxury brands such as Gucci and Prada have a wide range of styles at very low prices. If you want to enjoy shopping, this is a place you can't miss. *You can choose to get off at the outlet mall and stay there or go to the next attraction, the hot spring. ▼Option 2: Day trip hot spring bathing experience (about 2 hours) If you would like to take a hot spring bath instead of the outlet, we have a shuttle service available and will take you to the hot spring "Kinohana no Yu", which just opened at the end of 2019. The name of the hot spring comes from the goddess "Kinohana Sakiyahime" enshrined at Mt. Fuji and Fuji Sengen Taisha Shrine. You can enjoy an overwhelming view of Mt. Fuji from the hot spring, and you can enjoy a large open-air bath while looking at Mt. Fuji with high-quality hot spring water from the private source.
