Plan description

A spectacular collaboration between the Konparu and Hosho schools! We will be holding a Noh performance featuring two different schools. This year, we will be collaborating with the Konparu school, one of the five major schools of Noh! There will also be a dialogue between Noh performers from both schools, as well as a performance of the same piece, so try to spot the differences between this and the Hosho school, which is popular in Ishikawa Prefecture. *Reservations on this website can be made up to three days before the performance. For reservations after that, please contact the Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theater (076-264-2598).

Come enjoy the traditional performing art of Nohgaku in a casual atmosphere!

Traditional performing arts may seem a little difficult to understand, but with synopsis materials for the programs and discussions between Noh actors, you can enjoy Noh in an easy-to-understand manner. The price is also reasonable! Free for high school students and younger!

The venue is located right next to Kenrokuen Garden, and there are plenty of sightseeing and cultural facilities in the area!

The venue, Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theatre, is located within walking distance of Kenrokuen Garden, a famous tourist spot in Ishikawa Prefecture, as well as numerous cultural facilities such as the Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of Art, Ishikawa Prefectural Museum of History, and the National Crafts Museum. The Kanazawa Noh Museum, which displays Noh masks and costumes, and also offers courses and experiences, is also within walking distance! Be sure to stop by during your sightseeing trip to Kanazawa!

20-30 minutes from Kanazawa-Nishi IC or Morimoto IC on the Hokuriku Expressway. Please use the Cultural Facilities Shared First Parking Lot (Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theatre Parking Lot / 128 spaces). *Please note that there is a limit to the number of parking spaces. If the parking lot is full, please use a nearby paid parking lot. If you are using a large bus, please contact Ishikawa Prefectural Noh Theatre in advance.
