[Chiba Prefecture] 1.5 hours from Tokyo! Salt-making experience with lunch made from local ingredients

Today, let's experience making salt together while enjoying the fun of the sea and nature! "I want to eat delicious food and live happily in any era!" We look forward to sharing with you our story of aiming for a self-sufficient life and our life with nature. ### Experience Overview In this experience, we will gather at Nodahama Beach in Sosa City, Chiba Prefecture, and collect seawater. After that, we will cook salt in an outdoor stove between the bakery "Namamai Pan" and the private lodging "Piyopiyo House Kumikami" in Katori City, Chiba Prefecture. On the way, we will prepare a fluffy sandwich made of raw rice bread using local ingredients for lunch. It is easy for children to do. We hope you will feel the change of seasons through activities in nature. The water temperature is based on the temperature approximately two months before. The water temperature is expected to be low from February to April. - **Q: Will the activity be canceled due to weather? **A: This is an outdoor activity, so it will be canceled for safety reasons if it rains or the waves are high.

The seawater that is the source of the salt is collected from the ocean in Chiba Prefecture. Enjoy the ocean, which shows different expressions depending on the season. The taste of the salt produced varies depending on the ocean on that day. Please bring a change of clothes as the seawater is collected by entering the ocean. Swimming is not permitted.

Seawater is evaporated by burning bamboo. It's fun to light a fire in the hearth. Please spend some time lost in thought while watching the fire.

Lunch during the activity is a sandwich made with local ingredients. The bread is gluten-free, made from raw rice. Anyone can eat it with peace of mind.
