Taketomi Island Trip One-day kitesurfing trip Taketomi Island is a 10-minute boat ride from Ishigaki to Taketomi Island. When you arrive at Taketomi Island, the bus will already be waiting, so get on and you'll arrive at the beach in about 5 minutes♪ Beginners and experienced surfers are all welcome! We can provide coaching for basic tricks such as back rolls, big airs, and freestyle, so if you would like this, please write it in the comments section when booking. Why not take your level up a notch with this trip? The feeling of running along the flat water together on the open beach of Taketomi Island is the best! We will also record a video♪
We will provide all the kite gear, wetsuits, etc.
We also provide coaching for the tricks you want to learn! From basic tricks like backrolls to board-offs, kite loops, freestyles, and more, our professional instructors will help you improve your level!
The tour will end on-site, giving you free time to enjoy delicious local food, explore Taketomi Island, or just stay overnight!

Selling points regarding safety
Two Japanese instructors with international kite instructor certification will teach you. They have experience traveling to windy regions around the world, and take into consideration the wind and terrain of Ishigaki Island when conducting lessons. Beginners will use a small kite and learn how to control the kite with minimal power. Helmets and life jackets are mandatory, and lessons are conducted with thorough risk management of accidents, etc.
