Why not experience the charm of SUP on the largest sandbar in the Shimanto River, where you can float on the river and paddle while operating it yourself at a point with little current in the Shimanto River? ◎ There are infinite ways to play. You can go to the diving spot and enjoy diving, stand in the river, or if the water level is normal, you can ride a little current. If you have a SUP, you can enjoy playing in the river in Shimanto. Morning session 9:00-11:30 Afternoon session 13:00-15:30 ◎ About the safety of the tour In addition to learning the water rescue qualification Rescue 3 and lifesaving first aid qualification, you will be accompanied by a guide who has experience in boat operation, first aid, practical application in running water, and tour results. ◎ New facilities have been installed to make it even more comfortable March 2024 NATURAL GROOVE is located on the grounds of Mishima Campsite and is affiliated with the campsite. Customers who participate in the tour can use the shower room and toilet at the campsite. The campsite is scheduled to reopen in spring 2024 with new facilities and an even more comfortable stay.

Beautiful scenery

The upper reaches of the Shimanto River are relatively rapid, the middle reaches meander widely, and the lower reaches flow slowly. The area around Natural Groove, located in the middle reaches, has few man-made structures and is filled with nature. Let's take a look underwater from a boat.

We recommend wearing a T-shirt, shorts, long leggings or spats, or a long-sleeved rash guard over your swimsuit to prevent injury from twigs or rocks in the river or on the riverbank, and to protect against UV rays. Even in June and October, there are days when it is okay to wear a swimsuit if there is sunlight. The weather can change from day to day, so please contact us for details. We recommend renting a full wetsuit over your spring, autumn, and winter swimsuit. On particularly cold or windy days, a windproof jacket is also included in the rental wetsuit set.
