Phantom Island, a scenic spot in the Yaeyama Islands that changes shape with the tides, is extremely popular, but there are no regular ferry services and it can only be reached by tour. At Tom Sawyer, you can land on this phantom island with two courses: snorkeling and introductory diving! The pure white sand and crystal clear waters are like heaven. Come and create some unforgettable memories with your special someone! This beginner-friendly course is perfect for girls' trips or solo travelers, and can be easily completed in your spare time. You have a high chance of encountering colorful tropical fish and sea turtles. Beginners to marine sports are also welcome! Don't worry, our experienced staff will provide gentle and careful instruction. [Schedule] Morning (afternoon) 7:45-7:55 (12:45-12:55) Hotel pick-up or local assembly 08:00 (13:00) Meet in front of the Tom Sawyer tent and hand over equipment 08:30 (13:30) Departure and point briefing 09:00 (14:00) Arrive at the phantom island and disembark ・There is plenty of free time so you can take photos or just relax and enjoy the scenery♪ ↓ Move Diving begins 10:00 (14:30) End Move 10:30 (15:30) Arrive at Ishigaki Port ・Transfer to hotel or local assembly ■Rental underwater camera: 2,000 yen ■Participation eligibility Target age Ages 10-69 (Those 60 and older will need a medical check sheet with no problems and a doctor's certificate stating they are fit to participate, for which an additional fee of 2,500 yen will be charged.) *Due to numerous reports of drowning accidents, we have strengthened safety measures and have imposed a limit on the number of participants per guide for those 60 and older, which will result in an additional fee.
