[Ishigaki Island Long-legged Shrimp Fishing & Light Trekking] Duration: Approximately 3 hours. Held twice a day, in the morning and afternoon. A half-day long-legged shrimp fishing & trekking tour that can be enjoyed on Ishigaki Island in Okinawa Prefecture. Beginners are welcome, and rental equipment is included! No special preparation is required. Since it is a mountain tour, it can be held even if the sea is rough with strong winds! People who have suddenly changed their plans are also welcome. ・Arakawa Falls on the northwest side of Ishigaki Island. There are two waterfalls, one upstream and one downstream. When you think of waterfalls, you think of Iriomote Island. In fact, there is a magnificent waterfall on Ishigaki Island as well. While trekking to this waterfall full of negative ions, you will climb and fish for long-legged shrimp. ・The main target is the [Konjin Long-legged Shrimp], the largest long-legged shrimp in Japan, and is only found in Okinawa and the Yaeyama Islands. It is a large species with a body length of over 15 cm, and some that can exceed 30 cm when stretched out. Written in kanji, it is called "Konjin Tenagaebi" (golden god long-legged shrimp). The shrimp's body is tinged with an ochre color, which is where the name comes from. ・Our experienced staff will carefully teach you how to fish and how to catch fish easily. If you are not good at fishing, the staff will help you, so please feel free to ask. With the staff by your side, even first-time fishermen, beginners and small children can enjoy fishing with peace of mind. ・You can eat the crayfish you catch at affiliated izakayas and restaurants. *Reservation required. We will climb the Arakawa Falls in the northwest of Ishigaki Island. Explore the jungle while soaking up negative ions! Our goal is the Okinawa endemic Konjin Long-legged Shrimp, a large species that can grow up to 30cm. Fishing is very easy! Even children can catch them if you time it right.

This is a mountain tour, so we will hold it even if the waves are high! If the sea is rough and your plans suddenly change, please join us. Rental fees are included in the tour fee. No special preparation is required. Trekking shoes, fishing rods, tackle, bait, insurance, and transportation fees are included. You can enjoy trekking and crayfish fishing without having to bring anything with you.

The freshly caught prawns can be cooked and eaten at our partner izakaya. *Reservation required. Freshly caught prawns are the best! They go well with Orion beer. They can be fried or grilled with salt. We will bring the shrimp directly to the izakaya, so you can come directly to the shop! First, please return to the inn, take a shower, change your clothes, and relax.
