★Let's share the excitement of a hot winter with everyone★ In winter, humpback whales come to Okinawa's main island to raise their young! Adults can reach lengths of approximately 13 meters, making them some of the largest creatures on Earth! This is an "exciting experience tour" where you can observe these humpback whales from a boat or from the surface of the water. It's a tour that puts you in contact with nature. In order to minimize stress on the whales during snorkeling, the number of times you can enter the water is limited depending on the ocean conditions and individual whales. However, the excitement of seeing them underwater is so great that it makes all the hard work worthwhile!
Since this is a snorkeling tour, you can still fly home after participating! It's also possible to combine it with diving, so even those who are short on time can enjoy a tour that lasts as little as two days and one night. ♪ [Example 1] Diving and whale swimming combined: First day: Morning → Arrive at Naha Airport, Afternoon → Dive the next day, participate in whale swimming, fly in the evening → Return home. [Example 2] Whale swimming only: First day: Work during the day, Night → Arrive in Okinawa the next day, participate in whale swimming, fly in the evening → Return home. *We recommend catching a flight as late as possible after participating in whale swimming. The end time may be delayed depending on tour conditions.
The tour departs from two locations, Naha and Ginowan, making it easy to participate from various areas, including not only Naha City but also Chatan Town, Yomitan Village, Onna Village, Nago City, and more. *Please note that traffic congestion is expected during rush hour on weekdays, so please allow yourself plenty of time.
The boat is shared, but it is made up of only friendly shops, so once on board, we work as one team! The sense of unity on board is unique to "Chubu Whale Swim"! Let's share the excitement with everyone ♪

Time schedule
Meet at Ginowan Marina Once you pass through the Ginowan Marina gate, the meeting place will be outside the management office with the yellow roof on your immediate left. *Please note that there will be heavy traffic during the weekday morning rush hour, so please allow yourself plenty of time.
After the briefing, we set sail! Before setting sail, we will thoroughly explain how to use the boat and what to be careful of when whale swimming! If you have any questions, please feel free to ask the staff. *The staff will be on the second floor to look for whales.
If you spot a whale, start watching! Once you spot a whale, you will slowly approach it. While observing, you will decide whether it is safe to enter the water. In the meantime, you can use the restroom, hydrate, and enjoy watching the whale.
Once you determine you can enter the water, get ready! Once we determine that the whale's movements are slow and relaxed, it's time to prepare to enter the water! After putting on our snorkel gear, we gather compactly behind the whale and wait for the right moment.
Enter slowly and gently! When the signal to enter the water is given, enter slowly and gently so as not to startle the whales! Once you enter the water, float without swimming and wait for them to come. The trick is to act like a piece of driftwood lol "Driftwood Style"
A long-awaited meeting! Yes! Depending on the whale, it may pass so close that you can almost reach out and touch it! Where the whale comes from and how close it gets is entirely up to the whale.
Lunchtime is at your own pace! There will be no lunch break to coincide with the whale sightings, so please have lunch at your own pace! We recommend something quick to eat, like rice balls or sandwiches.
Try again or find another one! If it looks like it can try again, it will jump into the water, or depending on the stress it is under, it will look for another spot! It all depends on the whale ♪
Thank you for coming back! The return to port is scheduled for around 1:00 PM, but may be earlier or later depending on the whale situation. *If you are flying back on this day, we recommend taking a later flight.
