Why don't you see tea ceremony by a tea master up close in a historic tea room with over 200 years of history? In this experience, you can also learn how to drink matcha and how to eat sweets. Please enjoy the taste of authentic Japanese matcha and wabi-sabi in a historic tea room built at the end of the Edo period. *You cannot make tea by yourself. ◆◇About Taiseian◇◆Taiseian was built in the Zenjuin Temple of Horyu-ji Temple by Kakuken Tsukaku, the high priest of Horyu-ji Temple, about 200 years ago at the end of the Edo period. According to the records of Horyuji Temple, Kakuken, who was well versed in the tea ceremony, wrote letters to his fellow monks and invited them all to enjoy tea. There is also a Japanese garden attached to the tea room, so you can enjoy tea while watching the scenery that changes with the seasons.
