Why don't you enjoy snowshoeing in Kaida Kogen, which is one of the coldest regions in Japan at the foot of Mt. Ontake? The guide will guide you to a course where even beginners can enjoy powder snow with peace of mind. There are 6 courses, all of which are flat and can be enjoyed by those who are not confident in their physical strength. Rental items are also available, so it is a plan that you can feel free to experience. * Snowshoes will be rented. If you need snowwear or snow boots, please contact Kiso Ontake Health Lab.

You can freely choose the date and time and course!

We have prepared 6 courses so that you can enjoy a wide range of powder snow Kaida Kogen from beginners to advanced snowshoes. You can freely choose the date and time. * Caution: The course may be limited depending on the snow conditions.

(For beginners) ■ Kisouma no Sato Course Around Kisouma no Sato Horse Ranch. A course with few undulations, where you can see the magnificent Mt. Ontake and walk in the beautiful birch forest. Participation fee 5,000 yen (tax included per person) ■ Lab Forest Course In the forest around the Kiso Ontake Health Lab, you can spend a relaxing time, such as looking for animal footprints. Relatively flat. Participation fee 5,000 yen (tax included per person) (For beginners to beginners) ■ Onoshima Natural Park Course Go through the almost flat forest and enjoy the scenery of the snow-covered mountain stream and the powerful waterfall. A slightly undulating course. Participation fee 6,000 yen (tax included per person) (For intermediate users) ■ Mt. Ontake Myojin Course A spectacular course where you can see the magnificent Mt. Ontake and Mt. Norikura and Mt. Komagatake after walking along the fluffy powder snow forest road. (For advanced users) ■ Jizo Pass Course In winter, a course that climbs a closed road to the Jizo Pass and heads to the observatory overlooking Mt. Ontake. Participation fee 7,000 yen (tax included per person) ■ Nishino Pass Course An advanced course that crosses the Nishino Pass on the Hida Kaido, where travelers once traveled.
