● Official recognition: Approved by Japan Association of Athletics Federations, International Association of Athletics Federations approved course and World Para Athletics (WPA) approved event. Runners participating in the IPC Registration Division, need to have
a registered IPC Athletics License and to hold an international class
prior to this race for his/her results to be officially
recognized for rankings and records of WPA.
The recruitment capacity is for the general division (B1, B2, B3) full marathon: no capacity 10 miles: no capacity 5km: no capacity IPC registration department (T11, T12, T13) full marathon: no capacity. * Entry acceptance period: December 4, 1st year (Wednesday) 10:00 to February 23, 2nd year (Sunday) 24:00
A lakeside circuit course that starts around Kawaguchi Sports Park, starts at Kasumigaura City Museum of History, and ends at Kawaguchi Sports Park J: COM Field Tsuchiura.
● Full marathon: 17km checkpoint 12:15 (2 hours and 25 minutes), 28.5km checkpoint 14:10 (4 hours and 20 minutes), Finish line 16:00 (6 hours and 10 minutes)
● 10 mile race: Finish 11:20 (2 hours)
● 5km race: Finish 11:10 (40 minutes)
* A starting pistol will be used. Depending on the block, it may take more than 10 minutes to pass through the starting line after the pistol sound.

Matters require attention | ● Participants will receive either a Marathon original arm pouch or a local treat as a participation prize. ※The prize will be distributed on the event day at the main venue. ● Record certificates: A record certificate will be issued to everyone who finish within the time limit. The record downloading service will start the day after the event. ★ 30th Anniversary Bonus ★ Full marathon finishers will receive a record certificate with photo. All finishers will receive eco-bags. Event terms ・Participants shall be responsible for taking full control of your own health care. Please try to be in the best physical conditions possible and get a medical checkup prior to the event. If you are not feeling well on the event day, please refrain from participating. ・Participants who are determined unfit to continue the race by a competition officer may be disqualified. ・ Entry fees will not be refunded in the case of event cancellation due to conditions beyond the control of the organizers. ・The organizers will not be responsible for delayed arrival of participants on the day of the race due to public transport or road traffic conditions. ・ Wearing or displaying any designs and trademarks representing company/brand names and such for advertising purposes within the event venue or on the courses is prohibited. ・Participants must adhere to all instructions by the organizers regarding any event-related matters not covered above. |

Other notifications | Competition Rules The races will be conducted in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by the Japan Association of Athletics Federations (JAAF), World Para Athletics (WPA) and this competition. B1 ・ Visual acuity: may sense the light only, no visual perception of distance or direction B2 ・ Visual acuity: Possible visual perception of objects and up to eyesight level 0.03 or a visual field of 5 degrees or less. B3 · Visual acuity: Eyesight level is from 0.03 to 0.1 and a visual field is over 5 degrees but less than 20 degrees. Those who do not qualify for above stated visual disabilities need to apply for General Division. * For B3 section, if you are accompanied by an escort-runner, you will not be eligible for any award. * IPC Division is only for registered IPC runners. ・ Escort runners You may find one by yourself or request the Kasumigaura Marathon Volunteer Bank upon submitting your entry. |

Full-time guide-helpers provided by local businesses will ensure visually impaired runners' safe transfer to the venue and preparation for the race. |
