You can experience genuine twill dyeing without using any chemicals or synthetic dyes. We produce one T-shirt with traditional Japanese indigo dyeing friendly to people and environment. Family, group, even one person participation OK! Because only natural ingredients are used, you can work with small children with peace of mind. Come and experience the indigo beauty created by the magical powers of nature!
We offer courses ranging from easy courses of about 2 hours to detailed courses according to your wishes. There are gloves and aprons available at the workshop, so you do not need to prepare anything. Use the indigo dyeing solution produced with the help of microbial fermentation bacteria, and make your own work with authentic indigo dyeing that is dyed in multiple layers.
Sugaso, which is the raw material for indigo dyeing, is grown from seeding in the field to completely pesticide free, and after harvesting it is repeated for about 3 months, repeating fermentation and drying to make the dyeing material "Sukumo". Add "wood lye", lime and sake from wood ashes and ferment for 1 week to 10 days. Thus, fabrics dyed with time-consuming dyes are less likely to lose color and do not transfer to other laundry. You will have a nice piece that you can use for a long time.
