[Hyogo/Awaji Island] Experience the incense craftsman with a long-established scent of 100 Year its establishment! Groups are also welcome!

Accounts for about 70% of the incense production nationwide, the smell of home-Awaji Island. In the workshop of the long-established inherit the tradition of Meiji since 100 years, "Awaji UmeKaorudo Eney factory", you can experience of incense craftsmen due to old-fashioned recipe. The journey takes about 10 minutes. You can also feel free to experience in between sightseeing.

The traditional work of transferring linear incense to a tray (bon festival). You will experience this traditional technique that only craftsmen are allowed to do. Make incense sticks from the raw incense produced on that day. The instructor will explain, so please try while looking at the example.

In order to produce straight incense sticks, you can feel the precious incense by hand and replace the raw incense sticks from the sacred tray (with raw incense sticks). They will carefully help you to experience the traditional manufacturing process. Group participation is also possible, so please contact us.
