My family's favorite beach for the past few years has been Otomari Beach, a secret swimming beach located on Ikei Island, a popular spot in Uruma City on the east side of Okinawa's main island, accessible via the underwater road. I'm doing some research because I really need to decide where to spend my summer vacation. Both Okinawa and Amami Oshima have beautiful beaches, so I'm really torn. I might end up going somewhere completely different even though I've written these two options. There are many marine sports to enjoy the beautiful ocean, but my favorite at the moment is snorkeling. Diving is fun, but it's a bit expensive and you have to make reservations properly, so snorkeling is the best when you want to take an unplanned trip. When I go to Okinawa, I usually wake up in the morning, go for a walk to the beach, walk on the white sand, eat spam rice balls, and then relax and snorkel all day.
