A mountain called "Table Mountain" because of its gentle mountain shape like a table. The altitude is 1256m, and the roads are well maintained and easy to walk, so it is a popular mountain destination for Karuizawa residents. From the top you can see Mt. Asama close up and Mt. Fuji far away if it is clear. If you are lucky, you may meet an antelope on the way! ? The end of the trek is to Karuizawa's most scenic spot, "Kumobaike." Fresh green in the spring and autumn leaves in the autumn are reflected on the surface of the lake, giving a beautiful view of the four seasons. The Shinanoji nature trail is a hiking course with a total length of about 10 km, which is a downhill path from the Mine Teahouse. Among them, walk about 7,5km to Kose Hot spring, which has many attractions. You can see the two famous waterfalls of Karuizawa (Shiraito Falls and Ryugae Falls) as you pass through the lush forest and larch forest. At the end, let's soak in the healing effect of the forest while taking a walk through the forest along Yukawa. This course is recommended for people who are not confident in their physical fitness, young or old, regardless of age or sex, as the entire journey is almost downhill. Please experience the healing nature of Karuizawa with your whole body. From Kose Hot spring, you can take a bus back to the Mine Chaya Parking Lot or just back to Karuizawa station. Nature trekking with a dedicated guide to the summit of Mt. Ko-Asama at the foot of Mt. Asama. Mt. Ko-Asama is a parasitic volcano at the eastern foot of Mt. Asama, with an elevation of 1,655m. As you head to the summit, your guide will explain the origins and vegetation of Mt. Asama. The round trip takes about two and a half hours, so even first-time climbers, regardless of age or gender, can easily join us. From the summit covered in volcanic gravel, you can enjoy the spectacular view of Mt. Asama and a magnificent view. For experienced climbers and intermediate and advanced climbers, we can also arrange climbing Mt. Kurobanzayama, with an elevation of 2,404m, which offers a wonderful panorama, and Mt. Maekake, which is 2,524m and closest to the crater of Mt. Asama!

The Usui Pass was once said to be the most difficult part of the Nakasendo. In this tour, we will aim at the viewing platform from the former Karuizawa Ginza through the promenade of Usui Pass. There is a promenade on the road that goes through the cottage of the grove, and you can reach the viewing platform in about 1.5 hours. From the observatory, you can enjoy a magnificent view of Mount Asama and Mt. Myogi. As this is a handy hiking course, people of all ages can participate. You can freely disperse on the viewing platform, so you can stop at the Kumano Emperor Shrine or take a break at the pass's teahouse. On the way back, you can either return the way you came or take a bus back to the old Karuizawa.
