Walk through the virgin forest on snowshoes to view the cliffs that stretch all the way to Cape Shiretoko. You can see waterfalls flowing into the Sea of Okhotsk, giant icicles, and, depending on the season, drifting ice. You can mainly observe Ezo deer and wild birds. You may also spot eagles, woodpeckers, and flying squirrels, which are designated as natural monuments. In the event of a blizzard or other bad weather, we will contact you via your mobile device and, if you wish, we will cancel the tour or reschedule it for a later date when the weather improves. This tour is intended for people between the ages of 7 and 69 who do not require walking sticks or poles.

During the snowy season, you will walk through Shiretoko National Park, a World Heritage Site, on snowshoes. If there is no snow, you will walk without snowshoes. 初めてのスノーシュー。 とっても期待して参加しました。 スノーシューの履き方を教わり、いざ出発！ 行き先は…フレペの滝展望台。 夏に夫婦二人でいったとこ！ 途中、スノーシューをはかずに防滑ブーツやスニーカーで歩く人達に遭遇したら『譲ってあげてね』と言われ、どうせならスノーシューならではのコースで歩きたかったな…と思いましたが、これが『お手軽』なんでしょうかね。 フレペの滝展望台からの帰り道は、車道に出て歩道をスノーシューで歩いて、物足りなく感じました。 でもシカに遭遇したり、森のでき方やヒグマの痕跡の話を聞いたりできたのは、よかったです。
