Korakukan, a playhouse built in the Meiji era, is still in operation for more than 100 years and still holds regular performances (popular plays, etc.). In the first half of 2024, there will be a boy's review show of "Jun Kanzaki & 10carats" from late April to early June, and "Gekidan Yumeiro" from mid-June to late July, a theater troupe formed just for the Korakukan performance. It's interesting how it's different every year. The second half, from August 3rd to October 27th, is a popular theater performance by Shitamachi Kabuki-gumi. Performances will be performed in rotation for approximately one month each: Chairman Hiroshi Hitomi (Hagata Subaru Toma) → Hanagata Kaito Shingetsu → Chairman Tooru Mitsumine (Hagata Shigeki Takahashi). It is designed to be enjoyed by people of all ages, so we have many visitors, including students from elementary school to high school on school trips.
