We offer a simple and informal "table tea ceremony experience". In this experience, you can actually make matcha by yourself while learning the basics of the tea ceremony in one hour. ~ Flow of the day ~ ① Demonstration and hands-on experience (30 minutes) First, you will see a demonstration by the instructor. I will explain the specific steps and manners while demonstrating. After that, participants will move on to the experience of actually making matcha. The feature is that you can easily enjoy it using things you have at home, such as handkerchiefs and spoons. ②Enjoy dried sweets (15 minutes) Enjoy dried sweets with matcha green tea. Experience matcha green tea with Kutani ware in a tatami room in a townhouse full of culture. The current owner, Mr. Yukio Uchida, takes over the pottery shop in his parents' house, and he himself creates works by overglaze painting as a Kutani ware artist. In addition to being able to see and purchase Kutani ware at the shop on the 1st floor, the atelier on the 2nd floor of the machiya-style pottery shop is open to the public, allowing visitors to see Mr. Uchida painting. We also serve matcha green tea in Kutani tea bowls made by the artist. Come and experience the world of Kutani ware, which flourished in an elegant culture.

You will experience the tea ceremony in a place where you can enjoy Japanese culture by renovating an old folk house in the Showa era in Satoyama. With the guidance of a tea farmer who has been engaged in the tea industry for generations in Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, you will learn about Japanese tea culture through the traditional game "Tea Kabuki" where you can drink the types of tea that have been passed down since the Muromachi period (1336–1573). You can hear from tea farmers who carry out all of the production, tea making, and sales in-house about the flavor and taste created from the ingenuity and commitment of the production site, and the depth of Japanese tea. There is a private small group plan (2 to 6 people) and a group plan (7 people or more) where you can also experience zazen in a temple. Even beginners can feel free to enjoy it!

You can choose your favorite kimono and get dressed in a typical Japanese home. Experience and enjoy home-cooked meals while wearing traditional sashes. A water tea ceremony will be held at Ooka River, a famous place for cherry blossoms in Yokohama. Tea Ceremony on the Water Two days when full bloom is expected.
