A plan with pick-up and drop-off where you can enjoy ice fishing for smelt and Jingisukan in 30 minutes from Sapporo Station! There is only a little snow left, but it looks like you can still do ice fishing for smelt! The ice fishing experience on the day before or the day may be canceled or changed to pier fishing! All equipment is included! The staff will teach you how to fish! After enjoying fishing, you can enjoy Jingisukan while looking at the river! Depending on the weather, you can choose to have it in the Jingisukan hut or on the ice outdoors! The vegetables used for the Jingisukan are from the farm! In spring, you can eat asparagus, in summer, and other seasonal vegetables that are picked in the morning! Sapporo Classic draft beer and various drinks are also included! [Please note: This plan is intended for experienced anglers.] This is a self-service plan for those who have already taken our full-service smelt fishing one-day plan. This plan allows you to enjoy fishing without bringing anything with you. The tent, equipment, and fishing gear used in the guided tour are provided, but you are free to enjoy the rest of the time. Two bags of whitebait and spare tackle are also provided. *Please let us know if you do not need these. We have staff on-site who specialize in guided tours, so we can assist you if you need assistance. This plan allows you to enjoy the experience as long as you are comfortable with baiting and removing fish from the hook. We provide boiling water, so if you bring water, you can have lunch such as instant ramen. Please take your catch and any trash home with you. [Differences from the full-service plan] *Smelt tasting is not available. Please enjoy it at home or elsewhere. Tempura is available at a nearby roadside station restaurant for an additional fee. *There is no transportation from central Sapporo or stops at facilities along the way. You must come to the fishing spot yourself. *It costs just over 1,000 yen to take a taxi from the nearest station (Ainosato Kyoikudai Station) to the fishing spot. *We do not provide any baiting or removal of hooks from catches. *Please take any trash you bring with you home with you. *Available from 10:00 to 15:30.

This limited-time plan is for guests with early reservations. Bookings made 28 days in advance offer a special discount. Otherwise, it's the same as our regular plan. Enjoy smelt fishing in the ponds and riverbeds of the Ishikari River system, approximately 50 minutes from Sapporo city center. In this COVID-19 era, we must avoid crowded fishing in tents measuring roughly 3.3 m². We must adhere to the new Hokkaido guidelines and the Go To Travel campaign while also providing a relaxing winter experience. Therefore, we've decided to offer a private plan where guests set up tents on the ice, drill holes in the ice, fish, and enjoy tastings. This private plan, limited to a limited number of groups, offers a truly authentic Hokkaido experience. You'll cast your fishing line through a hole drilled in the thickly frozen river surface to target smelt swarming beneath the ice. The smelt you catch can be enjoyed as tempura or fried chicken. We use a private, farm-built greenhouse, ensuring thorough protection against the cold. A free shuttle service is available from Sapporo city center on tour days for convenient round-trip transportation. If you're lucky, you might even spot a red fox, a white-tailed eagle, or a whooper swan! Why not spend a day enjoying the special natural scenery? While this plan is generally a full-day experience, including a day off, you can also choose to enjoy sledding at a nearby ski resort, try snowshoeing in a vacant lot, or stop by a delicious local farm restaurant, Jingisukan (mongrel mutton barbecue), or ramen shop for a "nearly full-day exclusive plan" tailored for our guests.
