The city of Yokohama is often used in TV dramas and commercials, and the scenery is very beautiful, especially around Minato Mirai. 170 years ago, Perry landed in Yokohama, and Yokohama became the gateway to the West. There are many things that were first made in Japan, such as barber shops, ice cream, and newspapers. There are also foods that were created in Yokohama, such as Neapolitan spaghetti and pudding a la mode. Come and enjoy the wonderful scenery and history of Yokohama, as well as gourmet food such as Chinatown. If you would like to make chicken ramen (90 minutes) at the Cup Noodle Museum or tour the Kirin Beer Factory (90 minutes), reservations are required, so please contact us at least 3 months in advance. Reservations are not required for making cup noodles (about 45 minutes). For lunch, enjoy Chinatown, of course, but also long-established beef hotpot restaurants, cutlet restaurants, Neapolitan, and soba restaurants. This is a small, shallow, and clean river about 2km upstream from Akiya Coast. Due to the exposed rock formations and slippery conditions, marine shoes are a must. (Rock boots are available for free rental from autumn to spring.) Wearing a swimsuit and water shoes, we will travel upstream for approximately 1.5 hours, listening to a lecture about the creatures. We will search for mountain crabs and mitten crabs in the rocky river, focusing on stag beetles, long-legged shrimp, and dragonfly larvae. The meeting point is the Akiya bus stop, and there is a parking lot nearby. However, due to expected congestion, we recommend coming by train or bus. We look forward to your participation. What to bring: Water shoes (from the end of March to October), swimsuit, rash guard, spats, drinks, hat, backpack, plastic bag for carrying the water and a bubbler (a battery-powered oxygen device). What to bring: Rock boots (from November to mid-March), net, and storage bucket. PS: Generally, the minimum number of participants required for a session is 5 people.
