What is a packraft? Originally conceived as a portable travel (exploration) tool in Alaska, it was developed to enable travelers to navigate through all kinds of wilderness, including mountains, rivers, oceans, and valleys. A "packable" raft is an inflatable boat that's small enough to fit in a backpack and easily inflated for paddle cruising or downriver paddling anywhere on lakes and rivers. This is recommended for beginners to paddle sports, as well as those new to packrafting. This tour is also recommended for those who only have half a day to spare due to other commitments. We'll support your first packrafting experience with detailed instructions on paddling, tips, and safety. Once you've mastered paddling, you can even try paddling on a smaller current! Tour Overview: This is a half-day packrafting tour. Recommended for beginners and those looking for a quick packrafting experience! Start with a lesson on how to paddle, and once you get used to it, try paddling freely to various places ♪ If you're lucky, you might even get to see a steam locomotive passing by up close!
