Would you like to experience home cooking and calligraphy while wearing an authentic kimono? You can choose your favorite kimono and get dressed in a typical Japanese home. Experience and enjoy home-cooked meals while wearing traditional sashes. (We will also give you a brief introduction to soup stock.) In the calligraphy experience, why not write your favorite characters on colored paper or a folding fan to create a commemorative work? Please feel free to join us. Choose your favorite kimono and we will dress you in about 25 minutes per person. Cooking experience You can experience and enjoy home cooking while wearing traditional sashes. Experience the traditional culture of Niigata, the Furumachi Geisha! Experience the 200-year history of Furumachi, an entertainment district that has been acclaimed to rival Gion in Kyoto and Shinbashi in Tokyo. ~Experience Outline~ (Day 1) - Check in at Hotel Okura Niigata in Chuo Ward. Move to a kimono store and "Try wearing a kimono and stroll around the Furumachi Geisha District" (16:00-17:30). At the Nabechaya restaurant, "Dinner with multi-course meals and watching the dance of Furumachi Geisha, experience playing in a traditional Japanese parlor" (18:00-20:00) (Day 2). Check out of the inn at 9:00. Move to the Northern Culture Museum in Konan Ward to "visit the mansion and garden, and have a celebratory lunch of a wealthy farmer" (9:30-12:30, 180 minutes). Arrive at the south exit of Niigata Station at 13:00.

This is a unique experience which would make you feel proud of yourself.​ ​ Men's hakama and children's kimono and happi-coat are also available.​ ​ Our staff knows Asakusa inside out and will guide you to the best photo spots.​ ​ We can arrange a photographer as an option.​ ​ 【Namishima Yoko Nihon Buyo Class】 Japanese traditional dance "nihon-buyo" is a part of "kabuki" called "shosa-mono" which means movement.​ ​ Yoko Namishima left Nihon-buyo school and created her own stage performance,​ ​ and became a representative of「Shin-buyo」which is a new style of dancing. Her concept is to promote the Japanese spirit of harmony and hospitality through the dance and she is involved as an instructor of dancing, sword battling and kimono dressing in performances held all over the country and across the world.
