Once your reservation is confirmed, you will receive an email. Please be sure to confirm. This experience can accommodate up to 15 participants. During this experience, you will receive a lecture on Japanese swords, learn kata (cutting techniques), practice sparring, test-fire a bow and arrow, and try slashing with a mock sword. During the test-slash, you will slash multiple targets while moving with the mock sword. Slashing while moving is extremely difficult. Please experience the difficulty for yourself! Your instructor will be Yoshioki Sumida, assistant instructor of the All Japan Toyama-ryu Iaido Federation. With over 27 years of experience, he has taught at overseas branches in the United States, Europe, and Hong Kong. He is one of the very few instructors in the world who has deeply mastered and continues to pass on both kenjutsu and yabusame. Iai will teach you how to handle the sword, gekken will teach you distance from your opponent and attack/defense, and drawing the sword will teach you how to hold the blade. ~Schedule: Time may vary depending on the number of participants~ ① Demonstration (3 minutes) ② Lecture on swords (20 minutes) ③ Changing into training clothes (10 minutes) ④ Iai lesson (20 minutes) ⑤ Kendo lesson (20 minutes) ⑥ Archery lesson (20 minutes) ⑦ Sword test (20 minutes) ⑧ Certificate of Inka (5 minutes) ⑨ Changing into casual clothes (10 minutes)

It's 100% worth the money and not a tourist trap. The instructor, Sumida Sensei, was very patient and carefully taught me how to handle a katana. In the end, the improvement was visible. I started as a newbie, and at the end of the class, I was able to cut a tatami mat, bringing me a great sense of achievement. Really is worth a try!

FISH UP behind Tokyo Summerland 3-hour rainbow trout fishing school at Lake Akigawa Near Hachioji, 5 minutes from the Akiruno Interchange on the Ken-O Expressway. First learn how to fish in a pond with many large fish and a small pond for beginners, and an area surrounded by a net, then move on to the large pond. All fishing equipment will be provided, so please come empty-handed. We will prepare lures this time, so we can accept beginners to intermediate players.
