This is a tour to observe Japanese mitten crabs and soft-shelled turtles, held from spring to autumn. It is a tour to catch them with nets and traps. The experience involves catching them with traps set up the night before and mainly catching them with stones. The tour lasts about 1 hour and 45 minutes, and is a morning tour only available from spring to autumn. What you need to prepare: Marine shoes (from the end of March to October), change of clothes, swimsuit, spats, rash guard, drinks, rucksack, bucket for taking them home + bubbler (battery-powered oxygen supply machine), and a large bucket for turtles. ~Flow of the day~For those coming by train, meet at 8:00 on the right side of the ground exit at the east exit of Chofu Station (3776 number of orange Serena Fujisan). From 11:00 to 11:30, we will eat at a pizza restaurant along the Tama River (if it is closed, we will eat at a nearby family restaurant). We will pay. Meet at Chofu Station or Fukadai Fureai no Sato and go around 6 spots in the Nogawa River on an electric bicycle (with front and rear child seats, children's bicycles are available in various sizes). The tour lasts 2 hours. In the first half, you will fish for carp and catfish with bread. Even children can easily catch them, but the average size is about 60 cm, so you may not be able to catch them. The pull is strong, so please do your best to catch them. In the second half, if the fishing conditions are not good, you will experience searching the river in waders (free fool boots) or marine shoes.
