The soba making experience at Kannon-tei starts with grinding stones. As you turn the mortar, the appetizing aroma of buckwheat begins to drift. By the time you cut the dough, you may be hungry! Please enjoy the finished soba together while talking about your experiences. If you make soba by yourself, the deliciousness will double.
Teacher is very patient and kind. She guided us step by step although we do not speak any Japanese. Great bonding for the family. We have lots of fun. Plentiful of Soba so beware if you want to add more food to your selection. 5 star!!

This blacksmithing experience with Taro-san was one of the highlights of my trip. Taro-san was a very kind and knowledgeable teacher, and I really enjoyed my time there. Thank you for teaching us the Japanese way of blacksmithing! I look forward for any new classes you host in the future.
