"Kobo Seikan" has a workshop, shop, and cafe, and you can enjoy a tour of the Yamanaka lacquerware production site, experience turning the wood, and enjoy shopping, lacquerware, and cafes and sweets. In this course, we will visit the studio (I will explain) ~ Making a vase ~ Lacquerware experience at a cafe (with a drink) Here, the lacquerware craftsmen are working every day. In this experience, you can observe it up close and learn about lacquerware production. The staff will give you easy-to-understand instructions. Next, you will make your own original flower vase using the wood turning wheel and plane that the craftsmen actually use. You can experience full-fledged wood sawing through making single flower vase. Most of the shapes are carved by yourself, so it's a little bit difficult, but it's fun! ! ! A friendly wood craftsman will teach you carefully, so you can make it yourself until the final completion. You will be satisfied. It is fun. After that, you can enjoy drinks made with lacquerware and sweets at the cafe. Please relax and enjoy the lacquerware experience. If you have any questions, feel free to ask the staff or craftsmen. New stained art is "glass painting". You can enjoy the colors as if they were painted on a canvas. Feel free to draw any picture you like. (We also have sketch patterns available at our store).
