We will be holding a river creature exploration for parents and children, so we look forward to your participation. On the day, please gather at the meeting place, rent waders (30 sets in stock, free of charge, from 15cm to 28cm), put on gloves, turn over stones, and catch fish and crayfish. Please bring a marine scrub, as it is required from spring, the end of March to autumn and the end of October. During the cold water period from winter to spring, they do not move, so you can catch them with your bare hands. The main targets for capture are turtles, frogs, catfish, mitten crabs, striped shrimp, Yamato swamp shrimp, American crayfish, Ukigoi, Chichibu, loach, Moroko, Motsugo, Japanese river snail, Taiwanese clam, dragonfly nymph, and river insects. Many creatures live behind the stones and many hide underneath, so turn over a lot of stones to see them. It is easier to catch them in the winter observation session. We look forward to your participation and application. If you want to take some fish home, please bring a plastic case and a bubbler (battery-operated, only the fish need oxygen). There are many paid parking lots at the meeting point. They are located in and around the market. We will meet 10 minutes before the meeting point on the day and move there. Limited to summer, this is a nightly beetle and stag beetle hunting tour, aimed at small children. We will mainly hold the event on weekdays when there is less competition. We apologize for the late hours, but we would be happy if we could help you make summer memories with your children. You can see cicadas emerging, long-eared beetles, stag beetles, brown beetles, and on rare occasions, raccoon dogs. It is safe at night as there are few wasps. The number of observations varies depending on the weather, but generally ranges from a few to a few dozen at most, with fewer observed before and after rain. Please understand that we cannot commit to the number of observations due to the natural environment. This tour will take care of your children while you enjoy a BBQ from morning until late afternoon, and you can experience rummaging around in the nearby river and searching for stag and rhinoceros beetle larvae in the forest. Parents start getting ready from 10am and enjoy a leisurely BBQ until noon, while children join after 12pm and stay until 1.30pm. After 1.30pm, you can go to the nearby Kuroyu Onsen and Yumori no Sato hot springs (admission fee included). Or you can rent an electric bicycle for free and take a tour around Jindaiji Temple. Children can be looked after from 10am to 12pm and from 1.30pm to 4pm. This is the most popular tour held from autumn to spring. A tour to search for aquatic insects around several forests and streams (spring water points) on an electric bicycle with front and rear child seats. Free rental of waders is available from autumn to spring. Please bring marine shoes in summer. Search for rhinoceros beetle larvae in the forest and stag beetle larvae in the trees. Move to the stream and search for about five types of nymphs. Search for giant dragonflies, small dragonflies, blue dragonflies, dragonflies, autumn darter nymphs, fish, crabs, and crayfish.
