We are looking forward to your participation in this river wildlife exploration for parents and children. On the day, please gather at the designated meeting point, rent waders (30 sets available free of charge, from 15cm to 28cm), put on work gloves, and turn over stones to catch fish and crayfish. Please bring your own marine equipment from spring, the end of March, through autumn, and the end of October. During the cold winter and spring waters, the water is stationary, so you can catch them with your bare hands. Targets include turtles, frogs, catfish, mitten crabs, striped shrimp, Japanese swamp shrimp, American crayfish, dung goby, Japanese loach, Japanese pit viper, Japanese rock goby, Japanese river snail, Taiwanese clam, dragonfly nymph, and river insects. Many creatures live under and beneath the stones, so be sure to turn over lots of rocks to see what's underneath. Winter observation sessions are the easiest time to catch them. We look forward to your participation and applications. If you wish to take home any fish, please bring a plastic case and a bubble-bubble (battery-operated; only the fish require oxygen). There are many paid parking spaces available at the meeting point, both inside and around the market. We will meet and depart 10 minutes before the scheduled time. Please note that if you are late due to traffic congestion or other reasons, you will not be able to participate. In this case, we can arrange an afternoon session or reschedule, so please contact us. Thank you for your understanding. Depending on the instructor's schedule, Tosshi, Ryo, or Sora may be present. What to bring: Water shoes, change of clothes, swimsuit, spats, rash guard, drink, rucksack, plastic case for taking fish home, bubble-bubble.
