★ Rafting in Furano, Hokkaido ☆ The Sorachi River, which flows from the Taisetsu Mountain Range, is located in the upper reaches of the Sorachi River (also known as the Shisorapuchi River). Take a large, sturdy rubber boat down the beautiful Sorachi River for about 7 km. Rafting is highly recommended from late April to mid-May due to the flooding caused by the thaw, which is highly recommended. You can enjoy the autumn leaves depending on the season.

Participants are ages 3 and up. This is the same river as the regular rafting course, but you'll leisurely float down a calm section amidst the great outdoors while splashing around. This leisurely, fun descent in the great outdoors is suitable for all ages, from children aged 3 to seniors. Let's all work together and soothe ourselves in nature! ♪ *Regular rafting is recommended for elementary school students and older. The tour is held twice a day, in the morning and afternoon. Please wear comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting wet. Children participating in the summer can wear swimsuits. Please bring a change of clothes, towel, and plastic bag. *The tour will proceed rain or shine. (The tour may be canceled due to adverse natural conditions.) *The price includes the guide fee, rafting gear rental, and insurance. *Photographs will be taken during the tour (free gifts).

Rafting on the Shisoraputi River (also known as the Sorachi River) is offered at the most affordable price, using high-quality equipment and highly professional guides. This is a popular river for rafting in Furano, Minamifurano, and Tomamu. Recommended for couples, friends, and families. Access is available from Tomamu (17km), Furano Station (51km), Minamifurano Roadside Station, or Montbell Minamifurano (12km). Our Earth Outdoor Tour team will do our best to ensure your summer vacation is fun and wonderful. Meeting point: Sorachi River Sports Links, Minamifurano Town. Meeting times: Morning Tour: 9:15-9:25 AM; Afternoon Tour: 1:45-1:55 PM. Change into your rafting gear and head to the starting point. Morning Tour: 10:15-10:30 AM; Afternoon Tour: 2:30-2:45 PM. Enjoy a fun time with your family and friends. We will do our utmost to ensure a 100% safe and enjoyable experience. The river ride lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, but this may vary depending on the water level. The tour finishes at 12:00-12:30 AM and 4:30-5:00 PM, but this may vary depending on the water level and the number of participants. Rafting Preparation Guide: Clothing: • Quick-drying clothing that can get wet • During the colder months (May to mid-June and mid-September to October), wear warm, comfortable layers that are easy to move in • All necessary rafting gear (drysuits, life jackets, helmets) will be provided by our company.
