Rafting on the Shisoraputi River (also known as the Sorachi River) is offered at the most affordable price, using high-quality equipment and highly professional guides. This is a popular river for rafting in Furano, Minamifurano, and Tomamu. Recommended for couples, friends, and families. Access is available from Tomamu (17km), Furano Station (51km), Minamifurano Roadside Station, or Montbell Minamifurano (12km). Our Earth Outdoor Tour team will do our best to ensure your summer vacation is fun and wonderful. Meeting point: Sorachi River Sports Links, Minamifurano Town. Meeting times: Morning Tour: 9:15-9:25 AM; Afternoon Tour: 1:45-1:55 PM. Change into your rafting gear and head to the starting point. Morning Tour: 10:15-10:30 AM; Afternoon Tour: 2:30-2:45 PM. Enjoy a fun time with your family and friends. We will do our utmost to ensure a 100% safe and enjoyable experience. Enjoy some of Japan's cleanest waters and create wonderful memories on your Furano/Tomamu tour. The river ride lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, but this may vary depending on the water level. The tour finishes at 12:00-12:30 AM and 4:30-5:00 PM, but this may vary depending on the water level and the number of participants. Rafting Preparation Guide: Clothing: • Quick-drying clothing that can get wet • During the colder months (May to mid-June and mid-September to October), wear warm, comfortable layers that are easy to move in • All necessary rafting gear (drysuits, life jackets, helmets) will be provided by our company. What to bring: • Change of clothes (in case you get wet) • Towel (if you have one) • Sunscreen (if you have one). Can I raft with glasses? Yes! If you wear glasses or sunglasses, please let our staff know. We will provide a free strap to keep your glasses in place. Can I participate if I can't swim? Of course! Everyone is provided with certified life jackets, and our professional guides provide detailed safety briefings. Even non-swimmers can safely enjoy rafting in every season.
