In autumn, you can meet the golden beech forest.

Visibility increases to the point where you can see 30 meters ahead. The sunlight shining in warmly illuminates the water, which is at 2°C. The Hyoto Ice Museum Festival, one of Hokkaido's three major winter festivals, is held from late January to mid-February. As the lake water is highly transparent, the ice sculptures shine blue like Lake Shikotsu during the day, and at night, the lake is lit up and fireworks are set off, making it a sight to behold.

It is a ceramic art experience performed at the Kobushi kiln workshop. Since the kiln will teach you carefully, beginners and children can experience it with confidence. You can freely make your favorite things by hand-bending and making tatara using the hand wheel. You can rest assured that we will give you advice according to what you want to make. It is also possible to take the time to make a particular dish. You can experience it all year round regardless of the weather. After making the shape, let it dry, bake it and give it to you at a later date. It is completed by applying glaze of Kobushi kiln, sea cucumber glaze (blue) or white glaze. Please wait for 2-3 months until it is completed. ~ Flow of the day ~ ① Reception Please enter the Kobushi Ceramics Museum and complete the reception and payment.
