It is a canoeing experience of about 17 kilometers on the Kushiro River, which flows through the Kushiro Marsh. The meeting place is JR Senmo Line, Toya Station. It is a long course to enjoy the marshlands from Lake Toro to Hosooka Canoe Port to Iwahogi Floodgate. The first half is a forest course with many trees even in the wetlands. In the second half, there are few trees in the marshland, and the original appearance of the marshland remains with many open landscapes. There is also a toilet break at Hosooka Canoe Port on the way. Recommended for those who want to enjoy the wetlands for a long time. During the Cretaceous period, 80 million years ago, much of Hokkaido's mountainous region was under the sea. That is why so many ammonites and plant fossils are discovered in the geological formations of Hokkaido. The Yubari Mountains on the west side of Furano are a treasure trove of fossils. At Hidaka area, where HOA is based, we are doing Rafting in Sarugawa and Mukawa. The Saru River, which originates from the Hidaka Mountains, runs just behind the HOA and has been selected as the clearest river in Japan. And Hokkaido Mukawa is said to be one of the torrents. It's thrilling no matter how many times you go down the course where there is a large drop and a tricky rapid. Both are popular rivers for repeaters. The normal Rafting boat has a capacity of 6-7 people, but this mini raft is a mini size that 2-3 people can ride! It looks cute like a colon, but be careful on the river. The instability is indescribable, and it is a good skill to shake off passengers here and there.
