This is a 2km walk to see the unusual "Furepe Falls", a waterfall that falls directly into the sea from a cliff gap. On clear days, the Shiretoko mountain range is beautiful here. You can also see how the Shiretoko 100 Square Meter Movement is restoring the former development site to forest. It is often possible to see Ezo deer and wild birds here. The trail may be closed due to brown bears, snowfall, storms, etc. If we know of a closure in advance, we will contact you by mobile phone and offer you cancellation (free of charge) or an alternative course (same price), or a different date and time, if you wish.
