[Electric assisted bicycles] A wide lineup from small-wheeled types with baskets that can be ridden by people 133 cm tall and above, to mamachari types, and electric sports bicycles (so-called E-Bikes, electric cross bikes and road bikes). For types that can be dropped off, you can return them to the unmanned port in front of the station or at Jurigi intersection by 23:59 on the day. [Non-electric bicycles] A lineup from stylish cross bikes with baskets to sports types (gravel roads and mountain bikes are also available) for 2,800 yen per day. Today, you are the leader of an exploration team that will walk in search of "natural art." Hang a camera around your neck, grab a telescope and a magnifying glass, and head into the forest! Follow the map and follow the course... Look, here it is! There it is! The scenery you encounter one after another is a continuous stream of excitement and discoveries. Are you ready? Follow the instructions in the exploration booklet and set off! Look at the map as you go along and find "natural art" one after another! You can take pictures freely with your camera. ③ When you find art, stick a found sticker on it The "found sticker" that comes with the booklet. Stick one on each time you find art! ④ Goal! Hinohara Village is the only village on land in Tokyo. Deep inside the village, on a ridge well over 700m above sea level, lies the old house "Kyu Kobayashi Family Residence". Built in the mid-Edo period (more than 320 years ago), this mountain house is literally an "old house in the sky". This tour, which takes you there by mountain monorail that goes straight up a super steep slope of nearly 45 degrees, is an extremely extraordinary experience that will leave a deep impression on your memory, both geographically and historically, as well as physically. The tour meets at the Tokyo Back Mountain Base in front of JR Musashi-Itsukaichi Station, and includes transportation to the site by private car. *Hinohara Village has been designated as a national ecotourism promotion area, and as an exception, transportation to the ecotour site by car is permitted. (Your accompanying guide, Jinken, is a certified eco-tour guide for Hinode Village.) For lunch, you will be served at the Kobayashi Family House, with a lunchbox of light snacks (Cuban sandwiches) made specially for the Tokyo Urayama Base, and coffee brewed with water that participants themselves will have drawn from a special spring in the area. After experiencing the old mountain house, we will move on to another highlight of the day. We will stop at Kanoto Rock, a power spot known only to those in the know, and walk along the valley using chains. Here, too, you can experience a part of the local mountain worship and lifestyle culture. On the way back, we will cross a suspension bridge over the valley just beyond the Akigawa River from the village and enjoy a foot bath at a popular local hot spring. Once your feet are warm, we will head to a local cafe renovated from an old house, recommended by our guide (Jinken). We will take a break at CAFE POUND, the most popular cafe in the area, renovated from a Showa-era house by the owner himself. A private car will pick you up from the station, and you will be accompanied by a Hinode Village certified eco-tour guide. It will be a very fulfilling day where you can experience the lifestyle and culture of a mountain village. This is a premium tour with a capacity of only 6 people. Electric cycling and exploring unexplored areas at a hidden spot just over an hour west of Shinjuku! A local guide will take you on a special route through the scenery of nature and Satoyama, which is hard to believe that you are in Tokyo. With the help of an electric assist, you can easily climb the slope, encounter a huge tree, greet the fish swimming in the clear stream, throw stones in the river, take a break on the wooden deck overlooking the valley, and buy some local sweets. This is a fulfilling tour where you can enjoy the beauty of the valley, nature, and hidden spots that you won't believe are in Tokyo, as if they were attractions. For lunch, you can enjoy a special Cuban sandwich lunch box while relaxing on an outdoor chair in the valley (canyon chairing experience) (both the chairing and lunch box are included in the price). Enjoy the luxury of sitting by the water, listening to the sound of the water, and doing nothing. The highlight of the afternoon tour is a river trekking experience where you wear waterproof clothing to keep your feet dry and walk through a secret valley stream to feel like an explorer and visit a hidden waterfall in Tokyo! Participants must be 135cm tall or above, and can be enjoyed by friends or family. After river trekking, we will run along the river and return to the back mountain base, and the tour will end... If you wish, you can use the rental bicycle as is and move around freely, so you can split up with the guide and go further through the countryside and valley scenery, and even aim for a hot spring footbath. This summer, why not try a waterfall tour and a dip in the clear stream recommended by a guide, where you can feel the overwhelming coolness with your whole body at a special valley spot in Hinode Village that you wouldn't think is in the same Tokyo? This summer, enjoy the best "summer vacation for adults" that you can only experience here! Hinode Village, a village in Tokyo that is currently a hot topic. The area where the north and south Akigawa Rivers join (where the Hinode Village Office is located) is the center of Hinode Village, so to speak, but there are many hidden spots where you can enjoy the beauty of several waterfalls and valleys just in the area not far from there. A way to enjoy the charm of Hinode Village to the fullest is to "tour around the waterfalls". It is the most luxurious way to enjoy visiting several "waterfalls" that are pleasant even if you just visit one. However, it is easier said than done. There are few buses, few parking lots, and the directions to each waterfall are complicated, so even if you just look at a map and try to get around, it can be quite difficult... So! This is a special tour where a guide will take you to a secret firefly spot in the quiet Akigawa Valley at dusk. Come and see the miracle of natural fireflies dancing in the valley at dusk. A local guide will take you to a special place where natural fireflies dance along the clear Akigawa Valley, which you would never think is in Tokyo. The places we visit change slightly depending on the season, so they are not always the same. Taking into consideration the weather and temperature, the guide will carefully select the "spot where the fireflies are most likely to fly that day". All the necessary equipment will be provided at the back mountain base, so no special preparations are required.
