Small group, 7 to 10 people, family-only night safari insect observation tour★ Mainly for those who come by car, but those who can book a hotel in the neighborhood (Chofu, Kokubunji area) can participate by train or on foot. This is a tour that will take you to several tour points where you can mainly capture the nocturnal beetle, the stag beetle, during the main hours of the day from 9pm to 11pm. Enter the copse of a private individual with whom you have a contract. This event will only be held from June to August, so we ask that you make your reservation early. Limited to summer, this is a nightly beetle and stag beetle hunting tour, aimed at small children. We will mainly hold the event on weekdays when there is less competition. We apologize for the late hours, but we would be happy if we could help you make summer memories with your children. We look forward to your early reservations. ▼Experience content On the day, we will visit several points and introduce tips for observation. We will observe beetles and stag beetles. You can see cicadas emerging, long-eared beetles, stag beetles, brown beetles, and on rare occasions, raccoon dogs. It is safe at night as there are few wasps. The number of observations varies depending on the weather, but generally ranges from a few to a few dozen at most, with fewer observed before and after rain. Please understand that we cannot commit to the number of observations due to the natural environment. All the insects we observed will be released locally, and everyone will be given the same insects that they have captured in the local areas (mainly Ibaraki and Tochigi prefectures). ▼About gathering・Customers by car or on foot: Please come directly to the point at 7:00 pm *Details will be provided only to guests who have made a reservation ▼Dispersal ends around 8:30 pm, and you can return by train (JR) . On the way back, we can pick you up at the nearest station. If you are within walking distance from the station, points will be deducted. Co-hosts Ryo-san and Sora-kun may be added or changed as hosts on the day depending on circumstances. We look forward to your participation.

This will be an experience tour where you will use a hammer to break down fallen trees that you have captured in your local forest and your own garden to search for adult (hibernating) stag beetles and larvae. As there is a limit to the number of rotten trees, we will be holding individual events for each family, and depending on the number of rotten trees we have in stock, we will be able to accommodate your request, so we look forward to hearing from you. The trapping time is one hour in your home's garden, followed by explanation, splitting the fallen wood, and searching for fallen wood in the nearby forest (near Fuchu and Chofu). Thank you.
