Otaru is a tourist destination that represents Hokkaido. If you move a little away from the center, you will find a vast expanse of snowy nature. A nature guide will lead you through the Otaru forest in winter wearing Western snowshoes called snowshoes. The winter forest is full of fun elements such as fluffy powder snow, the sound of animal footsteps, bird watching, and snow slides. With snowshoes, you can walk anywhere you want, even in places where the snow is so deep that you would normally not be able to go into them. No experience or skill required. It can be easily enjoyed by everyone from children to the elderly. During the tour, we set up a simple tent and had tea time! Drinking hot drinks in the midst of nature has a special taste. We provide free transportation to and from Otaru Station. There are two half-day tours a day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. This tour is recommended for those who want to experience snowshoeing in Hokkaido. This guided tour can be given in English.

Enjoy the spectacular snow scenery and wine from Yoichi with all your senses! Put on your snow hike and explore the beautiful snow fields around the wineries in Yoichi. After your walk, you can enjoy delicious wine brewed at a local winery in Yoichi. [What is snow hike?] - Short skis can be used with regular winter boots. - Much easier to walk on than "snowshoes" or "walking skis"! Even beginners can enjoy it. - You can walk, climb, and even slide on the fluffy snow. [All rental items are free!] We will lend you a complete snow hike set, snowwear, gloves, and more for free!
