Walk through the virgin forest on snowshoes and view the cliffs that stretch all the way to Cape Shiretoko. You can see waterfalls flowing into the Sea of Okhotsk, giant icicles, and, depending on the season, drift ice. You can mainly observe Ezo deer and wild birds. You may also see eagles, woodpeckers, and flying squirrels, which are protected species of birds. During the snowy season, you will walk through Shiretoko National Park, a World Heritage Site, on snowshoes. If there is no snow, you will walk without snowshoes. You will walk through natural forests and see waterfalls and giant icicles flowing into the Sea of Okhotsk, and depending on the season, drift ice. You can mainly observe Ezo deer and wild birds. Take a walk through the Utasai beech forest, which is designated as a national natural monument, with a nature guide. Take a walk with your guide to the national natural monument "Utasaibunabayashi" that has survived the two logging crises. In spring, take a walk while watching the pretty spring ephemeral flowers and the young shoots of fresh green beech. In summer, you can feel the natural energy in the dark green. In autumn, you can meet the golden beech forest.
