We will tour Akihabara's hidden TGC shops, hobby and game shops that can only be found in Japanese and cannot be searched on Google Maps in English. Since the staff at Japanese TGC shops, hobby and game shops cannot speak English, I will be in charge of giving advice and translating. Each TGC shop has its own characteristics, such as shops with many old cards, shops with many rare and expensive cards, and shops with many goods, so if you tell us what kind of shop you want to go to, we can arrange a tour for you. This is a tour that allows you to get a feel for Yokohama and make it a memorable trip, rather than visiting each famous spot quickly. At the time of Perry's arrival, Yokohama was a small, semi-fishing, semi-farming town of 100 households, but it has developed as a gateway to foreign countries and is now the largest city in Japan. The Minato Mirai area continues to evolve as a tourist destination, including the Red Brick Warehouse, Zou-no-hana Park, Hammerhead, and Air Cabin. As for food, there are many products that originated in Yokohama, such as bread, gyu-nabe, ice cream, and Neapolitan, and there are many shops that have been in business for over 100 years. Above all, the world's largest Chinatown highlights Yokohama's unique character. Yamashita Park, Nihon Odori, and Minato Mirai have also become filming locations for TV and movies. Therefore, people of all generations feel some kind of familiarity with Yokohama.

I'll be touring two popular tourist spots and sharing tips for first-time visitors to Yokohama to help them enjoy their trip with ease. Walking around Yokohama, I often come across scenery that makes me want to take photos. Even after living in the city for 30 years, I still find myself doing so. Not only does the scenery change with the seasons, but even throughout the day, I can enjoy the clear blue skies and the sunsets that change from yellow to orange to deep blue. While new buildings are constantly being constructed, some buildings reminiscent of the Meiji era remain. Yokohama offers many spots perfect as backdrops for dramas and movies of various themes. Visit the filming locations of recent TV dramas to feel closer to them. It's also fun to imagine how you would use these scenery as the backdrop for a drama. As the city where bread and ice cream were first introduced to Japan and where tonkatsu, Neapolitan pasta, and pudding à la mode were invented, I hope you enjoy these traditional flavors. You can also enjoy a food tour of Chinatown, one of the largest in the world, and experience the wonders of Yokohama not only with your eyes but also with your tongue.

The city of Yokohama is often used in TV dramas and commercials, and the scenery is very beautiful, especially around Minato Mirai. 170 years ago, Perry landed in Yokohama, and Yokohama became the gateway to the West. There are many things that were first made in Japan, such as barber shops, ice cream, and newspapers. There are also foods that were created in Yokohama, such as Neapolitan spaghetti and pudding a la mode. Come and enjoy the wonderful scenery and history of Yokohama, as well as gourmet food such as Chinatown. If you would like to make chicken ramen (90 minutes) at the Cup Noodle Museum or tour the Kirin Beer Factory (90 minutes), reservations are required, so please contact us at least 3 months in advance. Reservations are not required for making cup noodles (about 45 minutes). For lunch, enjoy Chinatown, of course, but also long-established beef hotpot restaurants, cutlet restaurants, Neapolitan, and soba restaurants. We also offer guided tours to Kamakura, Tokyo, and Disneyland the next day. Please feel free to ask us any questions.

In a small conference room, you will experience the basic techniques of calligraphy under the guidance of an instructor. You will finish by creating 1-2 pieces of work that you can display at home. After the calligraphy experience, you will walk around Oyama Shopping Street, which is 1.2 km long and has over 300 shops and restaurants, and have lunch. Transfer to the train and bus to the Akatsuka area. You will visit the Tokyo Great Buddha, Akatsuka Fudo Waterfall, Akatsuka Botanical Garden, Itabashi Museum of Art, Akatsuka Castle Ruins, and Itabashi Local Museum.
This was probably the best workshop we attended during our Japan trip! Very good Calligraphy explanations, the instructor is highly professional, and really takes time to demonstrate in great detail! So the Calligraphy class in itself it was already an amazing experience. However, afterwards you go to see the Tokyo Great Buddha (and museums & gardens) and can experience Japanese culture with interesting conversations and information about the surrounding area. Both instructors are very kind, very passionate and just pleasant people in general :)

Let's go on a journey to experience Japan's TGC shops together, with stress-free communication.
