Chopstick-making experience using a plane in Ginza, Tokyo. ★Chopstick-making experience recommended for couples and families★ This is a chopstick-making workshop using a plane. Have fun making your own chopsticks with your family, partner, or friends. ♪ ◆Process◆ 1. Choose your wood (20 types). 2. Choose your chopstick length (2 types). 3. Place your chopsticks on the stand and carve them with a plane. 4. Use sandpaper to smooth the tips and corners. 5. Coat with oil and you're done! *You can take your chopsticks home on the same day. The estimated time required is 45-60 minutes. Children under 9 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that you will be held responsible for any injuries sustained. Nice workshop but not the best we did in Japan Pros - easy to make - speak english - fun Cons - additional fees (only 3 simple woods available without additional fees) - very crowded : around 10 people per workshop, 1 workshop every hour but no time between two workshops. So there are two groups in paralel : one starting to choose and sharpzn the wood, another one finishing the choptick
