Would you like to make your own chopsticks in a nostalgic space? For making memories of your trip to Kyoto, for a girls' night out, or as a gift for your loved ones... You can take the product you made home with you on the day.
This workshop takes place in a lovely old house, with an equally lovely owner. You get to choose your own (almost finished) chopsticks, and basically you will sand them with sand paper, then polish them. While that is less hands-on work than at other workshops, I think the reason is the material used - these are made of something nicknamed "iron bamboo", and that's one of the best materials for chopsticks. So while your actual contribution to the final product may not be all that much, what you get are actual high quality chopsticks that are as durable as they are a cool souvenir!
