"Yu Kobo" opens 6 classrooms in Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka and Fukuoka. Bright and friendly professional staff will help you together according to the speed of each person. ☆ This is a course where you can create a work in a 60-minute lesson. ☆ Handmade one plate with a diameter of about 14 to 15 cm. Handmade dishes that can be used to separate side dishes and serve sweets and cakes ♪ You can enjoy home-cooked rice with the bowls you made. You can choose the glaze color from three types: earth ash glaze, celadon glaze, and Kiseto glaze. Why not make your favorite purse goods using Japanese fabrics and paper? The popular purse making workshop is now available on a regular basis. You can make a thin accessory case that can also be used as a card case, a seal case, a pen case, or a glasses case, as well as a small purse, all without sewing. The fabric is leftover from making kimonos and Japanese dolls, and the washi paper is upcycled scraps used for interior decoration. We want you to enjoy a variety of materials, so we purchase different colors and patterns each time. All of the materials are carefully handcrafted. Therefore, we do not always have the same pattern in stock every time. Please enjoy the selection at any time. There are four plans to choose from. Are you interested in art? Let's make art with washi paper Washi is a beautiful paper made using traditional Japanese techniques. Learn basic washi ink techniques and washi paper cutting, and create your own original washi art work (one postcard and A5 size washi art). Washi ink is an original design tool. Ink is made by melting colored washi paper. By using that ink, you can make your art colorful. By the way, when was the last time you wrote a letter? Write a letter to your loved ones using the postcard you created! (Stationery will also be provided). While waiting for the paper to dry, relax with the world's one and only original "Japanese paper tea" and local Japanese sweets. Washi tea is a tea brewed from the leaves of the kozo tree, which is the raw material for paper. *Explore art using Japanese paper! *Learn how to use washi ink and how to make paper cutouts. *Send an original designed postcard to your loved ones. *In the workshop, we will make two pieces, one in postcard size and one in A5 size.

"Ise Katagami" is used for dyeing kimonos. It is a traditional craft technique that has been passed down in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture for over a thousand years. ``Ise Katagami'' is made by a craftsman called a katagami, who uses a chisel to carve intricate patterns and designs onto durable Japanese paper. It is surprising that more than 900 patterns are carved into a single inch (approximately 3cm) corner using a very fine piece of material. This time, we will be dyeing postcards using a pattern carved by Chiaki Imazaka, a traditional craftsman. Why not dye it in your favorite color, create an original postcard, and send it to your loved ones with a message? We also have 6 different designs of this year's zodiac signs, ``Dragon'' and ``Seahorse.'' We recommend sending it to a loved one or to yourself as a memento of your trip to Tokyo.
