It is a plan that you can enjoy a full-fledged tea ceremony experience at Yatsugatake resort area "Kobuchizawa". You can also experience making green tea yourself. You can enjoy 2 matcha (light tea) clothes, fresh confectionery and dried confectionery.

Make your own original chopsticks by choosing the wood and length and sharpening them with a plane! This is an experience in Azumino, Shinshu, a place rich in nature with sparkling water, light, wind, and sky. For same-day reservations, please contact us by phone. We will try it out at our home workshop. When you enter the room, the smell of wood wafts through the air. Just that alone relaxes your mind! Concentrating on making chopsticks will refresh your mind and body! It is an experience that will satisfy all five senses with Azumino's delicious air, water, and light. Unlike the standard chopstick making experience where you just move a plane around on a shaft, you can make thin chopsticks using a plane stand designed by the craftsman Kawaguchi! You can make thick chopsticks, square chopsticks, and even octagonal chopsticks if you try hard! This is the only place in Japan where you can make your own easy-to-use chopsticks. Children in the third grade of elementary school can try it out! (For elementary school students, we recommend cypress wood; some people may not be able to carve it at all due to the hardness of mountain cherry wood.) Using a planer from a square piece of wood may seem difficult, but...our craftsmen will carefully teach you how to use the planer. . 12 years of chopstick making experience. I have experienced it with over 10,000 people so far, so everyone is creating it. Among the 10,000 people, there are also famous entertainers and announcers (*^-^*) ~ Procedure of the day ~ ① "Decide the wood and length." Decide the material of the chopsticks and the length of the chopsticks. ② “Explanation of the process ~ It all starts with someone teaching me how to use a plane~” Planes vary depending on the person who uses them! How much it takes to cut depends on your individual stance. Therefore, the time for the chopstick making experience will vary depending on each customer's time! ③Process 1. Make the thickness easy to use 2. Scrape the corners 3. Polish with sandpaper 4. Write the name with a baking pen 5. Receive it and paint. Our craftsmen will apply a water-repellent ceramic coating and send it to you approximately one month after it dries. Water-repellent ceramic paint is a naturally derived paint, so it is gentle on the body and prevents bacteria without damaging the texture of the wood. *Domestic genuine lacquer painting is available as an option. (1,100 yen to be paid on-site) When you apply lacquer, it forms a coating that prevents the wood from absorbing water, protecting the chopsticks from mold and bacteria. Lacquer is made from wood sap and has been used since the Jomon period, so it is safe for your body. There are very few shops that paint Japanese lacquer. This is an initiative that allows you to use wood with care for a long time. I will also repaint it. *Nagano Prefecture SDGs Promotion Company: Registration number 1573. We were registered in Nagano Prefecture as having been promoting eco-manufacturing for 25 years.

It is an experience of making oyaki at Kayabuki no Yakata, an inn in the valley of Shinshu. What is "oyaki"? What is it for non-Shinshu people? I'm feeling? Oyaki is made by dissolving wheat flour in water, kneading it, and wrapping bean paste made from red beans and vegetables. To put it plainly, is it a bun? ?? This is made all over Nagano prefecture, and the taste varies depending on the shop and home. At Kayabuki no Yakata, the surface is lightly baked by steaming. The skin and the bean paste inside are all handmade! It will be an experience of making such Shinshu soul food "Oyaki" with a local mother. In Shinshu, people of all ages are enjoying themselves. At the local cooking experience class [Fujiya], we offer a hands-on experience of making "Hoto", a local dish of Yamanashi Prefecture! ☆★Introducing Fujiya☆★Nice to meet you. Our restaurant is located in Fuji Kawaguchiko Town, located in the Fuji Five Lakes area of Yamanashi Prefecture, and is holding a hands-on class where everyone can make and enjoy Yamanashi's local cuisine. We are open every day with the hope that tourists visiting Yamanashi will learn about Yamanashi's food culture and history, and that it will be one of the memories of their trip to Yamanashi. Our staff will carefully support you so that even beginners in cooking and small children can enjoy participating. We are used by many customers not only for small groups such as private trips, but also for group trips such as school trips, company trips, and sightseeing tours. Please come visit our store when you are in the Fuji Five Lakes area. ☆★Introducing the hotou making experience☆★Hoto is loved by many people as a local dish of Yamanashi Prefecture. There are few local foods that are as popular as this one, and ``oneri in the morning, barley rice in the afternoon, and pumpkin hotou in the evening'' seems to have been the standard for daily life in Koshu farming villages for a long time. In 2007, it was selected by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries as one of the ``Top 100 Local Dishes of Rural Areas,'' which has been passed down to rural areas throughout Japan and is widely supported by the people. Hoto noodles are different from regular noodles in that they do not need to be left to rest. Therefore, the noodles are made by hand from the powdered state. The very popular [Yamanashi Set] comes with Koshu's specialty chicken giblets and Fujiya's brown sugar syrup soybean flour mochi. The content is quite extensive, so please come hungry. Our store also offers a dyeing experience where you can experience traditional Japanese dyeing techniques using natural materials, which can be used as a set with the hotou experience. During the dyeing experience, we will explain each step in detail, so even those who are new to dyeing and those who come with children can participate with confidence. The natural feel of natural materials and the fact that you make it with your own hands create a one-of-a-kind product that no one else can imitate. ◆ Recommended for the following people ◆ Those who want to try Yamanashi Prefecture's famous dishes Those who want to try making Yamanashi Prefecture's local cuisine Those who are looking for activities at Lake Yamanaka and Lake Kawaguchi Those who want to experience cooking with their parents and children Plan an experience project If you are looking for someone who is having trouble sightseeing on a rainy day If you are looking for sightseeing with English support *Due to our reservation system, all reservations are by request, but in most cases You can make a reservation at your desired time.
